What is Aeromodelling?

Aeromodelling is the designing, building, and flying of model aircraft. It’s a hobby that involves creating scale replicas of real-life aircraft using various materials such as balsa wood, plastic, and foam. Aeromodellers use various tools such as saws, sandpaper, and adhesives to construct their models, which are then powered by either electric motors, rubber bands, or small internal combustion engines. The hobby allows enthusiasts to experience the thrill of flight without the need for a full-sized aircraft and can be done as a solo activity or as part of a club where participants can share their experiences and learn from each other.
