Day 1

- Design Planning & Sizing:
- Selecting components based on the robot’s purpose.
- Calculating load, power requirements, and mobility systems.
- Choosing microcontrollers, sensors, and motors.
Afternoon
- Materials and Construction Techniques:
Introduction to materials used for robotics, such as aluminum, 3D-printed parts, and composites. - Hands-on Building of a Line-Following Robot:
Step-by-step construction of a simple line-following robot under expert guidance.
Day 2
Morning
- Integration of Electronics and Programming:
- Wiring and installing sensors, motors, and controllers.
- Programming microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino) to process sensor data and control movement.
- Design and Building an Obstacle-Avoiding Robot:
Basics of designing a robot capable of obstacle detection and autonomous navigation. Start assembling the model.
Afternoon
- Completion of the Obstacle-Avoiding Robot:
Final assembly, programming, and testing. - Testing and Demonstration:
Participants will test the functionality of both robots built during the workshop, with live demonstrations of their capabilities.
